MG&C reviews assessment reports, IFSP documents, IEP documents, letters, medical reports, and other documents in guiding and supporting families.
Meeting Preparation
MG&C supports families in preparing for upcoming meetings with their educational teams.
Meeting Attendance
MG&C attends all types of meetings with the family in order to provide support, guidance, and to facilitate positive communication and collaboration with the team.
Written Communication
MG&C guides families in drafting communication with the school, school district, educational providers, Regional Center, and the Local Education Agency (LEA).
Communication
MG&C maintains positive collaborative communication with families, educators, and service providers.
Program Observations
MG&C provides program and classroom observations as well as consultation with school districts, county programs, and the LEA in order to ensure appropriate programs depending on the needs of each student.
Itinerant Support
MG&C contracts with school districts and charter schools for itinerant services, consultation, and collaboration for students with hearing loss whose families have chosen listening and spoken language.
Staff/District Trainings
MG&C provides trainings for IEP teams, school districts, SELPAs, and others regarding all areas of the special education process as well as the unique social-emotional needs of each student.
Program Development
MG&C provides consultation and support with program development for DHH programs, serving students with hearing loss with all modes of communication.
